Cutaneous ulcers

Ulcers on the skin are due to the complete loss of the epidermis. Those of chronic evolution are usually related  to  the main sickness involving the patient, explaining (not always) their presence.

Ulcers due to circulatory disturbances are usually manifested on the legs, in patiens with venous insufficiency or leg varicosities.
