Atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is an expression of atopy that may be accompanied with asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Sneezing and allergic conjunctivitis are other common manifestations.

Children with atopic dermatitis don’t have the normal lipid coat that covers the skin, a protector of dehydration and injuries.
